Everything was presented in a very professional way, providing me with "what to expect" and potential pitfalls that have been encountered in the past with other projects. I felt very ready to start the process and at no point in time, did I feel like I was not prepared, rushed to do something, etc. The fact that all major decisions had to be made before we started the job and all products ordered really made for an easy project. The patio doors and windows that were replaced had experienced a good amount of rot, which had actually gotten into the structural members of the house that the windows and doors are attached to. La Pelusa replaced those framing members, did any necessary sealing and caulking as well as the work that was necessary for the install of the windows and the doors. Once the windows and doors were in place, La Pelusa repaired all drywall and installed matching trim and, as per our agreement, left painting for us to take care of. Painting would have cost more, and we felt it comfortable taking care of it ourselves. All of there work looks great, and we were impressed with the skill of their tradesmen.

LaPelusa Home Improvement, Inc. has remained a small, family owned and operated company since its establishment in 1964. Best of all, the doors and windows look like they belong to my period home. They are not a cheap 'update', but quality products. Brian and his team at La Pelusa did a spectacular job of installing new, larger windows and relocating an exterior door on my 1930's brick home. They were fantastic to work with, on time, professional, cleaned up, delivered on ever promise. When an issue arose with the threshold on the new door, they came right out and remedied it immediately.
I met him when the job was completed and we went over the work. I was very satisfied with the work and the quality of the installation. I am also confident that Brian and his company will stand behind their work should I have any problems in the future. I had already used them twice in the past and it was their business, they are my go-to people and I called Brian out and the pricing was really expensive, which was fine and it was a big door.

They were concerned about getting the door off so they could paint a portion that they could not get to without removing it. I called Brian and they were happy to come by and remove the door during this process. In the end, the painting company had people doing the job that had experience with this and so I was able to call Brian and let him know it was not necessary for him to come by.

All woodworking, extended wall near sliding glass door for safety, etc. I have used them repeatedly over the years for a variety of things and they are fantastic. They are very prompt and they are extremely neat and polite. They explain everything very clearly and make sure that I am in agreement before they proceed with anything, and then they follow up. The price is a little on the high side but I get what I pay for with that one because of the quality of the service and the lifetime guarantee on the supplies if we buy it through them.

I looked at other companies, he was giving me the models and the pricing, and it was not matching up to what I was getting from someone else. When I told him I already checked with Pella and they said they didn’t have that door, he started to get a little edgy with me. I told him I was just trying to compare the prices because I like to do my diligence and I told him I was just trying to compare apples to apples. He said, ‘David I have the door right in front of me, you are wrong’. However, I had already talked to Pella and they said they don’t have it, we wanted French doors and sliders and they come in different lines. So I wrote an email to Pella and to Brian and said, ‘look you guys please clear this up’.
