After several days I called the plumber who had neither heard about me or Stanley. Now I am going to call a plumber myself to get it replaced as it now leaks. I wish there were a way to keep them from ripping off more people who purchase a non-existent warranty from this company. Have been trying to get a hold of a customer service representative and seems like no is ever there. I get placed on hold until eventually an answering machine picks up. However if you attempt to get a hold of a sales rep they answer right away.

Through bankruptcy, the company appears to have been able to escape financial responsibility for unfulfilled service contracts and repair bills from their contractors. Whether or not Stanley Warranty will seek similar protection is not clear at this time. I just recently purchased this coverage , So far sound like a great deal, the representative was professional and courteous sounds like alot of bad reviews from what i see, I think its just a matter of patience.
